Grants
We welcome bold, collaborative ideas. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Marshalltown. Submit an LOI and join us in this journey of bold investment, shared purpose, and lasting impact.
How to Apply
To streamline our grantmaking and increase accessibility, we have adopted a Letter of Intent (LOI) process. LOIs are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed during our spring, summer, and fall grant cycles.
Letter of Intent (LOI) Grant Process:
Submit an LOI
Organizations interested in funding should submit a brief Letter of Intent outlining the program/project purpose, community partners, expected outcomes, budget summary, and how the work advances one or more of our priorities.
Review & Invitation
Our team reviews LOIs and invites selected organizations to submit a full grant application.
Application & Decision
Invited applicants complete the grant application. Decisions are made based on alignment with our mission, core values, and impact priorities.
Support & Partnership
Successful applicants receive funding and ongoing support, fostering a collaborative relationship with the Foundation.

- Projects/programs taking place outside of the Marshalltown, Iowa area
